Description
The Glucose Serum Test measures the blood glucose level, or the amount of glucose in the bloodstream. The Glucose Test is used to monitor blood glucose level for patients who may have diabetes, low blood glucose (hypoglycemia) or high blood glucose (hyperglycemia).
Glucose measurements are used in the diagnosis and treatment of carbohydrate metabolic disorders including diabetes mellitus, idiopathic hypoglycemia, and pancreatic islet cell neoplasm. A significant deviation from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician. The Glucose
